Well, that’s it for another year, one of the biggest ever for Vibe.

Not only did Vibe Alive return for a second successful national tour, Deadly Vibe magazine reached its 150th issue, The Deadly Awards turned 15 with the biggest show to date, and with our sister company Deadly TV, we even started work on our own television show called Living Strong, which, by the way, you can watch on NITV Tuesday nights at 7:30pm.

Then of course there’s the Vibe 3on3, which continues to criss-cross the country and will receive a well deserved makeover for next year, and Deadly Sounds is steadily approaching its 1000th episode! Phew! Almost need a lay down just from reading all of that.

In between it all, there was hardly time to catch our breath, but as always, the support and input from you fellas in the community made all the difference.

Thank you to all of our readers, listeners, sponsors and supporters for joining us for another action packed, history making year.

In the past 12 months, people like Jessica Mauboy, Warwick Thornton and Patrick Mills have proved there is simply no limit to what our people can achieve, no matter where you may come from, and it’s a pleasure brining you the latest stories on all of our inspiring achievers – there seems to be more and more every year.

Lookout for more big things ahead in 2010, kicking off with our special cover story in January Deadly Vibe on the very exciting, all new Indigenous musical, Bran Nue Dae. What a perfect way to start the year eh?

So from all the team at Vibe, enjoy your holidays, stay safe, and have a very merry Christmas!
