Deadlys Turn 10!

Everyone had a fantastic time at the 10th annual Deadlys – none more so than our very surprised winners.

One of the most popular announcements came when the Band of the Year Deadly was awarded to country music stars The Donovans. The crowd in the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall went absolutely wild at the news!

Another moment to savor came when Tony Mundine, boxing icon and father of Anthony Mundine, won the Ella award for Outstanding Contribution to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sport.

Young triathlete Brett Lee also had plenty of supporters in the crowd. When Brett was named Most Promising New Talent in Sport, his family, who had traveled down from the Mid North Coast went absolutely wild. Before the ceremony, Brett had said he was “fully stoked” just to be nominated for a Deadly.
